Thinly sliced potatoes layered with lashings of the good stuff. Oui, oui!

Ingredients:

  • 300ml ctn thickened cream










  • 2 tsp wholegrain mustard










  • 2 tsp fresh thyme leaves










  • 1 large garlic clove, finely chopped










  • 1.2kg Golden Delight potatoes, peeled, cut into 2mm-thick slices










  • 40g (1/2 cup) coarsely grated gruyere










  • Fresh thyme leaves, extra, to serve









  • Select all ingredients

  • Preheat oven to 180C. Grease a 1.5L (6 cup) baking dish with butter.





  • Combine the cream, mustard, thyme and garlic in a bowl. Season.





  • Add the potato to the cream mixture and toss to coat. Arrange the potato in the prepared dish, overlapping slightly. Pour over the cream mixture. Sprinkle with gruyere.





  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until tender and golden. Sprinkle with extra thyme.
