  • 4 oranges










  • 375g pkt mixed dried fruit










  • 2 tbsp honey










  • 1 cinnamon stick










  • 40 mls (2 tbsp) Grand Marnier










  • 6 2cm thick slices of brioche loaf










  • 150g mascarpone









  • Select all ingredients

  • Remove the rind from 3 of the oranges using a vegetable peeler. Remove the white pith from the rind and then cut the rind into very fine strips. (Alternatively use a zester.)





  • Juice all the oranges. Combine the orange rind strips, orange juice, mixed dried fruit, honey and cinnamon stick in saucepan. Bring to the boil over low heat, stirring often. Simmer, uncovered, for 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the Grand Marnier. Remove the cinnamon stick.





  • Toast the brioche slices until golden and spread generously with the mascarpone. Place brioche onto serving plates and spoon the warm fruit sauce over. Serve immediately.
