  • 6 sebago potatoes (see note), peeled, roughly chopped










  • 100g butter










  • 3/4 cup thickened cream










  • 2 tsp horseradish cream










  • 4 (x150g) beef minute steaks










  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce










  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce










  • Steamed broccolini, to serve

  • Place potatoes in a large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to the boil over high heat. Cook for 20 minutes or until tender. Drain and return to saucepan. Roughly mash. Add 50g butter and 1/2 cup thickened cream. Mash until smooth. Stir in horseradish cream and season with salt and pepper. Cover to keep warm.





  • Season steaks with salt and pepper. Heat remaining 50g butter in a large, heavy-based frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook steaks, in batches, for 1 minute each side. Remove steaks to a plate. Cover with foil to keep warm.





  • Reduce heat to medium. Add tomato sauce, worcestershire sauce and remaining 1/4 cup cream to pan. Simmer for 1 to 2 minutes or until sauce thickens slightly. Season with pepper.





  • Spoon mash onto plates. Top with steak. Drizzle with sauce. Serve with broccolini.
